◆ Cooling effect thanks to four ducts
There are four ducts.
The back of the ducts is equipped with a removable cover,
so if it rains, water will drain from the rain guard through the drain holes and out the front.
The ducts are covered during normal driving, and hot air escapes through slits in the cover.
When driving on a circuit, removing the duct cover creates a large opening, which provides excellent cooling.
Hot air is expelled through the side ducts while driving.
Air enters through the opening in the front bumper, passes around the engine,
and flows toward the bulkhead, where hot air is extracted through the side ducts in the hood.
◆Overwhelming Lightness
The finished product is ultra-lightweight, weighing approximately 2.6 kg.
Abarths have a forward-mounted engine, which means weight is biased toward the front.
In the case of the Abarth 595,
Total weight: 1,120 kg, Front weight: 730 kg
By replacing the hood, which weighs approximately 10 kg,
with a carbon fiber hood, weight can be reduced by approximately 75%.
This reduces the load on the front, improves handling,
and allows the car to decelerate with less force, putting less strain on the brakes.
When weight is reduced and unsprung weight and front load are reduced,
suspension movement becomes more linear and the car’s road-holding ability improves.
Lighter weight reduces the load on the engine, improving fuel efficiency.

This product is handcrafted by Japanese artisans using prepreg construction.

The fibers are neatly woven, resulting in a beautiful carbon fiber pattern.
This product has been extremely well received, and we are currently unable to keep up with production.
